Dear future Ellenor  Tuesday 19th may 19\5

Remember 2020?
That time you had to stay at home because of
Covid-19?
Then you could not go out to places
that you want to go like shopping,
takeaways and going to restaurants like,Indian
food and other stuff when you liked to go out.
Remember you couldn't see your friends and family
and you missed your friends a lot. And you wanted
to go
out with them but you couldn't go out with them
because Covid-19.
you always wanted to go out because you
loved shopping.
lucky you got to have some time with your family.

Anyway How's  is your bakery going that you have
always been dreaming about.
From  Ellenor.

staying at home

Staying at home.
Staying at home is very boring,
but then i have to do school work.
When I do work I listen to music while I do
my school  work.
I listen to Justin Beber’s songs like forever
and other songs.
I listen to his songs every time i’m working
on my chrome book.
Then i have to do some  work.
But i still do school work.
I am behind but I am catching up and my
dad is helping me with my school work.
I ask him if he could help me and he says
yes to me only for a little bit.

joy jolly jar.

This term, our Project Based Learning (P.B.L) started with the teachers putting us into groups.
In these groups we had to work collaboratively to create Jolly Jars for the school fair.
This task helped us to begin exploring our P.B.L question for the term -
How can we build community through our actions?
We had to research ideas, be creative with our product,
experiment with our materials and write instructions that could be followed by others.
Here is a link to my instructions. link

I learnt that instructions need to
be clear to help  people do the correct thing,
that  you need to double check it in case there is a mistake.

Reflection on P.B.L:
For our Jolly Jar my group made a flower in a jar.

I contributed to my group by
helping come up  with the idea of the jolly jar.
I went to the shop and bought some plastic bags to put all the ingredients in.
We put all the ingredients in the plastic bags.

Our Jolly Jar was creative because
we put  nail polish on the jar to decorate it.
It was our first time making a jolly jar and it turned out so well.

What I learned about working with others was
that we all work well together but at first it got a little bit  out of control
because we took a long time to come up with an idea for the jolly jar
. Compromising is hard.

How did we build community through our actions?
Our jolly jars all sold out very quickly ,
and we helped contribute to about $25000 or $30,000 for the bike track for the whole school.
